Aussie attempts to visit every Starbucks in the world

Darren Pead from Sydney has an obsession with Starbucks.

So much so that he is on a mission to drink a cup of coffee at every Starbucks in the world.

So far he's visited stores in 84 cities and has spent nearly NZD$8000 on coffee alone.

Pead has always been a massive Starbucks fan and makes it his mission to visit Starbucks at least three times per day.

"I consider myself the world's biggest Starbucks fan," he said.

"Starbucks is always my first choice when I want to buy a coffee, cold drink or food, even if it’s not the closest place I will go out of my way to find a Starbucks - I will never go anywhere else."

Pead says he travels a lot for work, and visiting Starbucks outlets around the world is a perk of the job. 

"I like the fact that when I’m travelling, that I can always find a Starbucks - they open early and close late, so I decided to have some fun and try to visit as many branches as possible."

Pead says he loves the atmosphere of the stores and says they have a great smell. 

For the record, his favourite drink is a latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon or double choc chip Frappuccino.
