Stunning new images have been released from inside the new Beijing Daxing Airport which is due to open at the end of September.
The multi-billion dollar project designed by Zaha Hadid Architects has been designed to supersede Beiking's current main airport, Capital International.
Chinese's state news channel CGTN has released a 360-degree tour of the airport providing a detailed look inside the terminal.
The new airport will be one of the world's largest when it opens, spanning 700,000 square-metres. It will be able to handle more than 40 million passengers a year and almost double that by 2025.
The 'starfish' layout is designed to shorten the distance passengers will have to walk when passing through the airport.
The airport will be Zaha Hadid Architects first fully completed airport, but won't be their last. The company is currently working on a new international airport for Mumbai.
When the airport opens, it will service flights from a growing list of airlines including Air China, British Airways, China Southern Airways and Malaysia Airways to dozens of international destinations as well as flights to over 40 domestic destinations throughout the day operated by China United Airlines.
