Singles Day comes early with sale airfares already available online

The worldwide shopping phenomenon that is November 11 - 'Singles Day' in China - takes place on Monday, but Newshub has discovered some sale airfares that are already online.

Flight Centre released discounted international airfares onto the market in the early hours of Friday morning, and Jetstar has followed with its own deals going online at midday.

Flight Centre's deals:
 

  • Return flights to Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch on Air New Zealand are on sale for $349

  • Return from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to Bali for $799 flying Emirates

  • Fiji Airways return airfares to Hawaii from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch for $699
