Inside Singapore Changi Airport's Frozen themed Christmas display

The airport that made headlines for its amazing Harry Potter themed village last Christmas, has taken things up a notch this year, this time celebrating Disney's Frozen movies.

Although Singapore's temperature has never fallen below 19C since records began, the snow is thick on the ground at the country's airport.

Changi Airport has installed its winter wonderland which includes falling snow, a light show and a special Frozen-themed water show at the Jewel.

Scenes from the recently released film are also projected onto parts of the building.

Fans of the movie may even be lucky enough to bump into the stars of the film, Anna, Elsa and Olaf while at the airport.

This year is the first time Singapore's new Jewel terminal has been open to the public and, like previous years, the airport isn't holding back in celebrating the holiday season.

There's a 16-metre-tall Christmas tree as well as a majestic forest, stilt walkers, live Christmas choirs and of course Santa himself. Local media report he's a fan of the airport's air conditioning.

Snow will also fall at certain times throughout the day.

The Frozen Village is open until January 5.
