A warning before you continue reading this article: Although it's meant to fill that curious travel bug nature while in isolation, it's likely to make you want to travel even more.
That said, there are so many places that are streamed live on the internet, allowing 'virtual' travel at a time when the real thing is impossible. As predicted in Back to the Future Part II, we now live in a world where we can essentially look out the window onto any city of our choosing.
Start your live webcam isolation adventure just as you might begin your Friday night - you could kick it off with a live camera in someone's home to watch dogs play in the lounge.
Then, you could move on to a local bar to do some people watching. There's loads of live cameras in bars in Ireland, but just like here, they're closed too, so aren't that exciting at the moment.
From there, you can head to some of the busiest night spots in the world such as Time Square in New York, or central London.
Different timezones can be annoying, but it does mean you can catch some amazing sunrises around the globe at all hours of the day in Aotearoa.
