Air New Zealand’s 'Koru Hour' is back.

On all evening domestic jet flights, passengers will be offered complimentary wine and beer, and cheese and crackers.

Monday night will be the first time the perk has been offered since before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the normal flight schedule to a halt in March.

Air New Zealand General Manager Customer Liz Fraser says she's aware of just how popular the service is.

"We know customers travelling in the evening love having a wine or beer, along with some cheese and crackers as part of Koru Hour and we're really proud to showcase some of New Zealand’s finest products in the sky," she said.

Non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks will also be available to enjoy with cheese and crackers.

But for fans of the cookie and corn chip combo, don't worry - these will still be available along with tea and coffee as usual.
