The possibility of summer weekend getaway just got a whole lot more realistic after Air New Zealand announced it would be offering 140,000 domestic one-way fares for under $60.
The travel dates run from mid-November through to February 2021, meaning there are some Christmas bargains to be found.
Air NZ's chief customer and sales officer Leanne Geraghty said the sale is offering cheap fares to every domestic destination the airline flies to.
"The school holidays brought a big boost to domestic tourism and we hope these fares will encourage New Zealanders to keep travelling and take advantage of some of the great deals tourism operators are providing at the moment," Geraghty said.
A search of the airline's website by Newshub found some airfares that were well below the $60 sale price as well.
