What may be a drone owner's worst nightmare has become social media gold.
The viral video starts with footage taken from the drone as it's being flown above an unidentified beach. What starts as a normal tracking shot of the shorelines suddenly becomes a shaky mystery as the drone appears to be thrashing about.
The spoiler alert is in the title of the video: "Eagle plucks a drone out of the sky and flies off with it."
The video has been viewed and shared thousands of times across Facebook, YouTube and Reddit.
The drone was never to be seen again, but thanks to cloud technology, the video was quickly recovered by its owner, who added some stabilisation to the video before sharing it with the world.
The owner of the drone and the footage itself has yet to be identified.
