Jetstar is offering New Zealanders cheap flights around Aotearoa this year in the airline's 'book-a-break' sale.
Flights from Auckland to Wellington or Christchurch are going for $25 one-way in the sale, which also includes Queenstown and Dunedin routes.
Travel dates vary per route and include periods from March 1 through to late September.
For domestic travellers, the sale is a good sign that competition between airlines like Jetstar and Air New Zealand is heating up, meaning more cheap deals for customers.
Given the ongoing uncertainty the COVID-19 pandemic creates for travellers, Jetstar offers a 'Fly Flexible policy', which means customers that make a new booking before April 30 can change the date of their travel if their plans change and only pay the fare difference.
The sale fares are available from Wednesday through to Monday, February 14, unless sold out prior.

- Auckland to Christchurch from $25 one way
- Auckland to Wellington from $25 one way
- Auckland to Queenstown from $53 one way
- Auckland to Dunedin from $37 one way
- Christchurch to Wellington from $26 one way
- Wellington to Queenstown from $39 one way
If customers are affected by changes to border restrictions, they will be able to get a credit voucher to the full value of their booking and, depending on the circumstances, may have the option of a cash refund.
