Jetstar has launched a New Zealand sale with 50,000 domestic airfares between the main centres on sale from $26 each.
Flights between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch are $26 each way in the sale, while flights to Queenstown cost $55 from Auckland or $35 from Wellington.
Travel dates vary per route and include early June to early July, late July to late September and mid-October to mid-December, 2022.
For domestic travellers, the sale is a good sign that competition between Jetstar and Air New Zealand is heating up, meaning more cheap deals for customers are on the horizon as the impact of COVID-19 begins to wane.
Jetstar New Zealand domestic sale fares:
- Auckland-Christchurch from $26 one way
- Auckland-Wellington from $26 one way
- Auckland-Queenstown from $55 one way
- Christchurch-Wellington from $26 one way
- Dunedin-Auckland from $35 one way
- Wellington-Queenstown from $35 one way.
The sale runs until 11:59pm, Thursday May 5, unless sold out prior.
Given the ongoing uncertainty the pandemic creates for travellers, Jetstar offers FareCredit, which allows customers to cancel a booking and get a credit voucher for the value of their flight plus any in-flight extras, but excluding the cost of FareCredit.
