Ever wondered what it's like being a dog kept inside a car on a hot day with the windows only partially rolled down?
American NFL star Tyrann Mathieu has, and put himself forward give it a try on a day with temperatures exceeding 32degC.
"I seriously couldn't imagine leaving my dog in a car like this," he says after four minutes.
"If you're going to make a dog part of your family, then make him a part of your family. Don't treat him like you wouldn't treat someone you cared about or someone you loved."
Dogs cannot sweat, so when they are stuck inside a car at temperatures above 32degC, they have no way of cooling themselves, according to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
