Tens of thousands of people have taken part in the 70th anniversary of La Tomatina, a popular event in the small town of Bunol, Spain, where festival-goers hurl 175 tonnes of over-ripe tomatoes at one another.
Billed as the world's biggest food fight, participants say there's nothing else like it.
"It's crazy, it's totally crazy," said one woman. "It's the first time I went here, but it's just – I have no words for it."
"I like Spain and I like Bunol and I like tomatoes," said another
The annual event was inspired by a food fight between local children in 1945.
