Quick-thinking locals have been praised with saving the life of a baby boy crushed by a minivan in China.
Surveillance video shows the baby playing with his mother on a street corner when the van cuts across their path, hitting the mother and then crushing the baby.
The driver tries to lift the vehicle off the baby but it won't budge until locals rush over, helping to lift up the van.
The baby suffered facial bruising and slight concussion but is recovering well thanks to the timely rescue.
