Pilots strike again at Lufthansa

(Reuters)

Pilots at German airline Lufthansa say they will stage new walkouts on freight and long-haul passenger services on Tuesday (local time).

The strike, the 13th in 18 months, will begin at 6pm and last until 10pm.

The action is their latest in their long-running dispute with management over early retirement provisions.

It will only affect the Lufthansa parent company, not the other airlines in the group, the pilots' union Cockpit said in a statement.
