Almost six months after Nepal's devastating earthquake killed more than 9000 people, the country is still struggling to rebuild.

The Himalayan Trust NZ, led by Prue Smith, is doing its part to help children of the victims of the quake, paying for tuition, books, uniforms and boarding costs up until their 18th birthdays.

The damage of the quake is still a crippling reality throughout the country, with Kiwis so far contributing more than $1 million towards in aid.
