Rescuers are going door to door by boat in parts of northern England after a massive storm brought the most rain ever recorded in Britain.
There are dozens of severe flood warnings still in place and tens of thousands of homes are without power.
The flooding and damage are widespread, stretching right across large parts of the north of England, Wales and southern Scotland.
