A number of exotic birds at Fort Worth Zoo have died after a powerful hailstorm hit north Texas.
The hail, which was reported to be the size of walnuts, killed five flamingos, a pelican, an ibis and a black-necked swan chick.
The storm also left holes in the canopy of the zoo's carousel and smashed dozens of skylights and windows.
