A hippopotamus has escaped from a circus in the Spanish town of Palos de la Frontera yesterday.
Hippopotamuses, which weigh an average of 1,500kg, are considered dangerous, killing a number of people each year.
But this hippo was more interested in enjoying its sightseeing tour, with a stroll through the town, and a snack on some grass.
Video footage shows the huge beast wandering down a road while traffic goes by.
The hippo's not-so-hasty run for freedom was short-lived however. It was soon rounded up by circus staff and local police officers, and returned to the circus.
