NZ teen arrested in Aus for salad toss

A Tauranga lifeguard has received a dressing down from police, after allegedly tossing salad at a man and his child in Alexandra Parade, Australia.

Seventeen-year-old Kane Jacob Sefton is the alleged culprit who has been charged with two counts of common assault for throwing the tub of coleslaw last Sunday, SunLive has reported.

Reports suggest the salad hit a man and his four-year-old daughter which splattered into their car.

Sefton was reported to be due back in New Zealand yesterday.
