Dad catches baseball with one hand, child in the other

The most kicked-back dad ever kept his cool when a baseball flew towards him and his child at a US Major League game in Thursday (local time).

Brian Kucharik didn't even think to dodge the ball, instead he extended his right arm to catch it, with his young daughter his left arm and a tray of hot dogs in his left hand.

"I wasn't too worried," Mr Kucharik told Newsweek afterwards.

"I play outfield so I'm used to it. It was coming right to my glove hand, so I was pretty confident."

The American side lost to Canadian visitors, prompting many in the crowd to jokingly call for the dad to join the field.
