Video: Facial recognition drone offers the ultimate selfie

An Australian inventor has created the next evolution of the selfie stick -- a phallic-shaped flying camera called the Roam-e.

The compact cylindrical drone offers hands-free operation, as it uses its 1080p resolution camera and facial recognition technology to follow people around.

It's capable of both live streaming footage and taking 360 panoramic shots, and can fly up to 25 metres in the air.

The drones are expected to go into production in August and ship out before Christmas.

It could be the ultimate prezzie -- if you don't mind the shape.
