Can these Brisbane twins really read each other's minds?

Bird-rescuing identical twins from Brisbane claim the uncanny ability to know exactly what the other is going to say when asked a question.

Paula and Bridgette Powers, 42, made global headlines for their trait.

Psychology professor Michael Corballis says it's perfectly normal for people to understand what's going on in other people's minds, "and twins are better able to do that, simply because of proximity".

"They are sort of genetically identical, but that doesn't make them identical people. I think they're putting on bit of an act."

Ryan Bridge met the twins, and put their powers to the test.
