Video has emerged of a successful river rescue in China - a glimmer of hope as millions across central and southern China grapple with serious flooding.
Footage shows a man trapped in the middle of a raging river, as fire fighters in Chongqing city set out to rescue him.
The video shows the fire officers reeling the man in on a zipline, with the help of a crowd of locals
CCTV News reports the man was fishing in a small stream when a flash flood struck.
Chongqing city is located at the junction of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers.
186 people are reported dead, and a further 45 are missing.
There is widespread damage to infrastructure. 1.4 million people have been evacuated and 56,000 houses collapsed.
