A high-rise apartment block in Dubai caught fire in the densely populated Marina district.
The fire appeared to have begun in the upper floors of the Sulafa skyscraper and quickly spread along the sides of the building.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
It is the latest in a number of skyscraper fires across the United Arab Emirates in recent months. The most prominent was a New Year's inferno at a 63-story residence near the world's tallest tower.
