Three people are lucky to be alive after a light plane made an emergency landing on a Sydney golf course on Thursday afternoon.
The plane reportedly ran into difficulty after taking off from a nearby airport, and wasn't able to turn back in time.
Golfers watched as the plane circled the course, before touching down and crashing into the lake.
"My dad said, 'This is going down, I think,'" Dean McGregor told 7 News. "I said, 'Nah it's not, it's just making a bit of a funny noise and getting to their airport.'"
Emergency services raced to the scene, but were amazed to see everyone dry and uninjured.
"They just walked out. They're not even wet," said a witness. "It's just amazing, it's their lucky day."
