A woman reportedly on a rampage with a machete has injured three people in Brussels before being shot by police.
She lunged at passengers as they exited a bus, stabbing one in the back and one in the stomach, local media says.
Two people were taken to hospital, one with serious injuries and one with minor.
Police arrived and warned the attacker to put down the machete, before shooting her in the arm and arresting her.
Police told local media the woman had a history of mental illness and the act was not considered to be motivated by terrorism.
The attack happened in Uccle, in the south of the Belgian capital city on Monday afternoon (local time).
