A man in Adelaide will be hoping the charges don't stick after he was arrested for using a frying pan as a steering wheel.
On Sunday morning police responded to reports of a suspicious red Mazda sedan with a male occupant loitering in a street.
They found the car was unregistered, uninsured, and had the number plate altered. But the most bizarre infringement was the metal pan in place of a steering wheel.
Police say they "panned" the driver - charging him with several offences and impounding the car.
On Twitter, SA Police said: "For those playing at home, this is not an approved steering wheel."
