The man who set up Hillary Clinton's private email system has failed to show up to a hearing into the Democratic presidential candidate's use of the server.
Bryan Pagliano was subpoenaed to appear on Tuesday (local time), and his absence angered Republican senators.
"This is again, the integrity of the House of Representatives, this is not an optional activity," said Chairman Jason Chaffetz. "If anybody is under any illusion that I’m going to let go of this and let it sail off into the sunset they are very ill advised."
Outside IT consultants did appear, but refused to answer anything under the US Constitution's Fifth Amendment.
