A Chinese motorist has had a lucky escape at the weekend after his van he was driving narrowly missed being crushed by a concrete mixer truck in China.
CCTV footage shows the moment the concrete truck hit the van at an intersection in the suburb of Yizhend.
Emergency services had to rescue the truck driver because he was stuck in his cab, and he managed to escape the collision with only minor scratches.
The truck driver, who was unnamed, said the other driver came close to dying.
"If I had not pulled on the steering wheel, my truck would have crushed the van, and the van driver would have died," he says.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
