For most couples preparing to tie the knot, flowers are an important part of the day.
However US couple Kathryn and Brad Ziemer used rescue puppies for their professional photos in place of the peonies.
And when it came time to kiss the bride, one of the pups snuck in for a little action.
The couple was married at Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove, Minneapolis.
Mr and Ms Ziemer support local rescue group Second-Hand Hounds in Eden Prairie, which is an organisation that rescues dogs from high kill shelters.
