Two Australian tourists are recovering after coming face-to-face with a crocodile in Zimbabwe.
Brendan Fowler, 27, and his friend Amilia Roberts, 22, were enjoying an evening dip in their villa's swimming pool just as the predator emerged from behind a lounger and joined them.
CCTV cameras captured the terrifying moment the 6-foot monster jumped into the pool.
Mr Fowler quickly jumped out, leaving Roberts to fend off the crocodile.
"The croc pretty much flew over my shoulder and I saw it before it got into the pool," Mr Fowler told the Sun.
"It looked like it was going to come at my face, so I turned and got out of the way."
Ms Roberts, currently travelling Africa on a gap year, was cornered by the crocodile, which became aggressive.
She managed to escape with only two bites and some minor injuries.
Sebastian Smyth, a third friend holidaying with the pair, ran in to help her escape.
The CCTV footage of the attack has attracted almost 2 million views on Youtube.
