Donald Trump has claimed victory in the US election and will be the 45th president of the country.
Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has called Mr Trump to concede, although she hasn't yet addressed her own supporters - instead her campaign chair sent them home for the night.
Mr Trump has never held political office and was considered a joke by Democrats and Republicans when he announced his presidential campaign.
Now, after a bitter fight, the country has been left divided.
