US election: Patrick Gower meets Amish voters


They're an elusive group in society, shunning modern conveniences like TV, cars and electricity.

But one thing the Amish do participate in is democracy.

Newshub political editor Patrick Gower had a shot at charming Amish voters in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania - but struggled to get much of a response.

Despite telling them he was from New Zealand, things got pretty awkward when the Amish didn't seem all that interested.
