Footage of a woman repeatedly punching and yelling abuse at a man outside a 7-Eleven convenience store in Queensland has caused a stir on the internet.
The man, Ash Smith, gave his camera the thumbs up and continued staring at it as the woman punched him in the back of the head.
It is not clear what he said before the attack, but the woman repeatedly yelled "say it again" while hitting him.
Despite suffering repeated blows, he continued to film as his friends tried to hold her back.
Mr Smith eventually left the altercation but not before the woman landed one final blow.
Two million people had viewed the video within 24 hours of it being posted.
In a post on Facebook, Mr Smith said the woman's attack followed one of his friends making fun of her home town, Emerald, saying 'classic Emerald' in response to her allegedly offering to lift her skirt in exchange for money.
He added the video highlights the problem of violence against men.
"[It] happens day in day out… as much as violence against women, but no one batts [sic] an eye when it's a bloke copping it."
