Just hours before he was shot dead by mistake, a Brisbane stuntman posted a video online joking about faulty props.
Johann Ofner, 28, died while filming a hip hop music video at an underground bar in the central city.
Queensland police are investigating whether workplace health and safety laws governing the use of weapons on film sets were followed.
A few hours before he died, Mr Ofner uploaded a video to his Instagram story of props - including two guns and stacks of cash, being used for the film clip. He made jokes in the captions about the "faulty props".
A number of guns were used in the filming, but police are yet to confirm what kind of gun was used in the shooting. Paramedics said Mr Ofner had two penetrating chest wounds and was shot at close range.
