A giant alligator sauntering past onlookers at a Florida reserve has been caught on camera and is trending worldwide.
Kim Joiner filmed the large reptile and uploaded it to Facebook, the post has subsequently been shared more than 7000 times as well as being picked up by international media.
The video shows four people at the Polk Nature Discovery Center watching as the creature emerges and slowly walks past them into the bushes.
Online commenters have reacted in both dismay and disbelief, with Ms Joiner describing the encounter as "nature at its best".
The Circle B Bar Reserve is an area of unprotected lands on the northwestern shore of Lake Hancock.
