A sculptor in the remote Siberian village of Yakutia in Russia has made a giant frozen manure rooster for the Chinese New Year.
Mikhail Bopposov made a 3.5-metre rooster using simple technology - and the excrement of 17 cows.
He creates a metal frame and then puts manure on the cast.
Mr Bopposov has made statues of other Chinese New Year symbols in the past including one of a monkey and a goat.
He says he uses dung because it is the easiest material to mould in the freezing-cold temperatures of Yakutia.
The Chinese Zodiac is based on a twelve-year cycle with each year related to an animal sign. The Year of the Rooster starts on January 28.
The statue is expected to melt in spring.
