Narrow miss in Queensland shark attack

A spearfisherman has captured the terrifying moment a bullshark charged at him while on a dive in Australia.

The man was mid-dive on the edge of a channel in north Queensland when the shark raced towards him.

But before it reached him he stuck out his spear, lodging it in its mouth before he resurfaced.

The fisherman says the aggression was unprovoked and asked online if anyone had seen similar behaviour from a bullshark before.

"It saw me then beelined straight at me half pace, then full charge 6m before it attacked," he said.
