The girlfriend of the stuntman who was shot during the filming of a music video has posted a heart-breaking tribute to him on social media.
Johann Ofner was shot in the chest in Brisbane's CBD during the filming of an Australian hip hop band's music video.
His girlfriend Kati Garnett has taken to Instagram with a post dedicated to the young athlete.
"Today the love of my life was taken from me and I still can't believe it," Ms Garnett wrote.
"I don't know what I'm going to do without you, the best people are always taken from us you were a true Angel.
"I love you so so much forever and ever."
The emotional post by Garnett had over 400 comments, with friends sending condolences and paying their own tributes.
Ofner had just made it through the audition rounds of Australia Ninja Warrior, a Channel Nine television show yet to be aired, that puts contestants through gruelling fitness and strength tests.
Candles were lit at a workout station along Burleigh beach on Monday night, where Ofner often exercised.
