Dramatic dashboard camera pictures show the moment a natural gas pipeline exploded in northern Texas.
A police officer captured the footage as he drove outside the city of Spearman in the state's north, when the huge explosion erupted in the distance.
Spearman Police Chief Lance Swan told Texas media that no damage was reported from the explosion, except to the pipeline itself and the surrounding pastureland. Nobody was injured in the blaze.
The sonic boom was felt throughout the small town and area near the Oklahoma border.
According to reports, the fire was extinguished Tuesday morning (local time) after burning for several hours. Crews say repairs on the pipeline will begin once the damage has been assessed.
