London's Heathrow Airport is on high alert after a man was arrested on suspicion of planning a terrorist act.
The man, 36, was detained at the airport by the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command on Friday morning (NZ time).
He is now in custody at a west London police station.
A Met Police spokesman would not speculate as to whether he will be charged with an offence overnight.
It follows a 50-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of committing a terrorist attack after arriving from Cairo at the busy airport hub last month.
