Australian model Ethan Turnbull and his friend Bennett Jonas are brushing off suggestions that they're "heroes" after rescuing seven New York teenagers from a frozen over Central Park pond.
"I think we were just right time, right place to be honest," Mr Jonas says.
The Australian model and his friend jumped in to help the teens who were frolicking on the ice, subsequently forcing them into the icy water.
Mr Turnbull and Mr Jonas were skating past at the time of the accident, and jumped in to help.
The rescue was a success, but the last two to be pulled from the pond were unconscious upon rescue.
All seven were treated for hypothermia but only one was taken to hospital.
