An image of a horrendous traffic jam in São Paulo will make you think twice about complaining about sitting in gridlock.

Earlier this month, a Brazilian radio station posted a photo on Facebook of a traffic jam in São Paulo at Faria Lima avenue.

If you think Auckland traffic is bad, just imagine how the poor drivers stuck in these cars were feeling?

The image portraying the traffic chaos has been shared 8000 times, and has more than 7000 likes.

The station claims a traffic light was broken at the intersection after a storm caused flooding and fallen trees in the area.

São Paulo media reported the morning traffic chaos surprised many office workers, who could see the build-up from above.
