It has emerged that Princess Diana once helped her best friend bury her stillborn baby in the gardens of Kensington Palace.
In the same documentary where Princess Diana's former lover James Hewitt emphatically denied that he is Prince Harry's father, another revelation was made - this time by Diana's best friend Rosa Monckton.
On Channel Seven's Sunday Night, host Melissa Doyle asked Ms Moncton "Was it she who suggested burying your baby at Kensington Palace?
"Yes, yes it was… It was an extraordinary thing to do," she replied.
Ms Moncton was a successful businesswoman and one of Diana's closest friends and confidantes. She is married to UK newspaper editor Dominic Lawson and became pregnant with their second child in 1993. The couple already had a 10-year-old daughter together. However she suffered a stillbirth before carrying to term.
Princes Diana reportedly suggested that Ms Moncton bury the infant I the grounds of London's Kensington Palace. The pair told security that they, along with Diana's butler, were burying a dead pet in the garden.
Ms Moncton told Sunday Night they had a "very, very moving ceremony". Diana gave Ms Moncton a key to the palace garden, which her friend still has.
