This cunning seal chose a smart spot to take a nap - possible bypassing Australia's notoriously strict border control laws.
Channel 7's video shows the seal hitching a ride on the front of a ship heading to Melbourne, an act which roused commenters' ire.
"Controversial One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson has requested the Seal be deported if not present with the correct paperwork!" one wrote on Facebook.
"Trying to get into Australia illegally!!!! Where is border security when you need them," another asked.
The seal's current location is unknown.
