An Indian rail corporation has been left scrambling for answers after a porn clip was accidentally played on a large advertising screen at one of the busiest train stations in New Dehli.
Commuters were filmed stopped in their tracks at Delhi's Rajiv Chowk Metro Station in Connaught Place on April 9 (local time).
Footage of the incident shows the screen, which is usually used to broadcast ads, split into six segments with explicit porn content playing on the bottom right. Many commuters stopped to capture the content on their phones, The Hindu reported.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) told The India Times it's investigating the incident.
"The DMRC is not aware about this clip," said spokesperson Anuj Dayal, adding that the screen was commissioned to a private contractor.
Local police have initiated an inquiry.
