At least four people dead in Greek train crash

At least four people have died and five are injured after a passenger train travelling from Athens to the northern city of Thessaloniki derailed.

The crash on Saturday night and death toll was confirmed by railway company Trainose in a statement.

The cause of the accident was not known, it said.

Witnesses say they saw the train slam into a house, whose two inhabitants jumped off their balcony.

Emergency workers, along with dozens of ambulances, are on the scene.
