Manchester shopping mall reopened after evacuation

A shopping mall in Manchester has been evacuated, only hours after a suicide bomb targeting a concert in the area killed dozens of people.

The Arndale shopping centre was cordoned off and evacuated on Tuesday morning (local time), with witnesses reporting a "big bang".

Video has emerged showing people running and fleeing the centre.

Armed police have been deployed in the area after a bombing at Manchester Arena killed 22 people and injured dozens others.

One man has been arrested at Arndale Centre and local police say it's not believed to be connected to the Manchester Arena bombing.

The shopping mall has since been reopened.
