A Melbourne teenager has given a swan the kiss of life after it became tangled in a fishing net.
Joshua Martin, 15, performed mouth-to-mouth on the bird, under his aunt's guidance, as she drove them to a vet clinic.
"He looked dead when we first found him," Joshua told 7 News. "I thought he was gone."
"When I first heard that first breath I felt really good."
Since then AFL star Travis Cloke watched the video online and has agreed to pay the swan's medical bills, leading to the swan gaining a new nickname, Clokey.
Clokey is expected to make a full recovery.
