Australian man arrested after crashing live cross

An Australian man has been arrested after crashing a live-cross for 7 News in Queensland, in front of police officers.

At the time, the journalist was reporting on a death in the suburb of Oakey. An 82-year-old man had died after an argument with another elderly man on Tuesday afternoon (local time).

He fell and hit his head during the argument, and died at the scene.

Shortly after the reporter finished her live cross, a man in the background shouted, "F**k her right in the p***y", a phrase which has gained notoriety by people interrupting news broadcasts.

His five minutes of fame is likely to cost him.

A number of police were nearby at the time, as they were investigating the elderly man's death, and promptly arrested him.

"You cops are arresting me? That's gammin'," he can be heard saying in video.

It's not yet known what charges the man will be facing.
